Who we are?
The Gulf Association of Endocrinology and Diabetes (GAED) is a non-for-profit organization renamed in 2020 after Gulf Chapter of AACE established in 2012 was dissociated from AACE. It aims to unit the group of physicians in the field endocrinology and diabetes practicing in the GCC countries and interested in building a medical society that deals with all aspects of the specialty of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in our communities. With great enthusiasm and passion for knowledge and education, Gulf association of Endocrinology and Diabetes welcomes you to join this community that represents you.
Mission
- Enrich physicians with ongoing medical developments and deliver high quality medical information.
- Provide a platform for research publication of basic and clinical science.
- Establish a standard of care among physicians of the same specialty.
- Improve public knowledge about diseases of the endocrine system and diabetes pertinent to the region’s believes and traditions.
- Help to collaborate between different regional and local medical societies.
